PROPOSED LOGO AND CAN REVAMP
Drink Weird approached me offering the opportunity to revamp their current logo and can design. The goal was to create an updated brand character with a more current feel and broad appeal. My idea was to incorporate a mascot that is well received between all genders, demographics, and ages between kid, tween, and adult. While both the yin-yang and smiley face signs have been used from the dawn of time, I thought by combining the two easily recognizable symbols in a unique way would give the brand a broad appeal and lasting impact. The mark is easily scalable and versatile in use on both color and black and white backgrounds. It is also fun to imagine the Weird mascot in different scenes as it could be surfing, skating, drinking a tea, and many other activities that is in-line with Drink Weird's core values.
